Wright's 'new creation' eschatology is sometimes misread as heterodox, but it is a well-attested position within historic Christian theology and does not compromise any creedal doctrine. Some readers from more conservative Reformed or dispensational traditions may find his critique of popular evangelical eschatology pointed, but his core theological commitments remain orthodox.
